As a result of this conference, participants will be able to:

1)  Identify departmental quality issues, system issues and areas for needed improvement in core measures

2)  Implement at least 2 ways to improve individually, the quality of care delivered to anesthetized patients, based on peer recommendations and literature reviews.

3)  Identify challenges in communication among colleagues and with patients, and improve means of addressing patient complaints appropriately.

4) Recognize cultural or linguistic disparities that are relevant to anesthesia care.
