Series Objectives: As a result of this series, participants will be able to:

  • Decrease usage of inappropriate myocardial perfusion scans.
  • Increase usage and availability of alternative chest pain tests including Stress Echo and CT Angiography.
  • Improve the quality and efficiency of cardiac imaging tests at your medical center, especially Stress Echo and CT Angiography.
  • Educate other physician colleagues (ED, Primary Care, and HBS) who order cardiac imaging tests as to which test is most appropriate for each patient.
