Title: Health Literacy
Speaker: Deborah Glupczynski, MD
Objectives:
1. By the end of our activity, participants will be able to be aware that low health literacy is extremely common in our patient popukation.
2. Participants should be able to recall Teach Back or Ask Me Three methods to use in direct patient encounters.
3. Participants should be able to use written communication such as After Visit Summaries to enhance their use of Teach
Back or Ask Me Three.
