Target Audience

Medical professionals who treat adults with chronic pain; post-surgical pain. This program will be of interest to all primary care physicians. Specialist and other interested clinicians are invited to attend within their scope of practice where applicable.

Participants will understand important psychological mechanisms of pain and pain relief.

Participants will understand important considerations for prescription opioid tapering.

Participants will understand basic principles of patient-centered prescription opioid tapering.
