Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this program, pediatric providers will be better able to:

  • Identify the natural course, medical management of otitis media with effusion and indications for referral for tympanostomy tubes.
  • Describe evidence based medical management of pediatric chronic rhinosinusitis and the role of adenoidectomy in chronic rhinosinusitis.
  • Review indications for tonsillectomy and modifying factors, and the utility of polysomnography prior to tonsillectomy.
