Pediatricians and family practice physicians who see children, specialists and other interested clinicians within their scope of practice where applicable.

Learning Objectives

As a result of this education, participants will be able to:

1. Define brief suicidal ideation and self-harm risk screening options for well-care and other teen appointments.

2. Understand recent prevalence rates of adolescent suicidal ideation and behavior (and the difference between the two) and increase awareness of common associated risk factors.

3. Review an overview of Suicide Assessment & Intervention Resources available through the KP system.
