Amplitude-integrated EEG (aEEG) NICU Training

August 9, 2018 to September 5, 2018

A half day in-person training at the medical center or selected venue, will include lecture, group discussion, and hands-on training with aEEG monitoring equipment.  

Target Audience

TPMG Physicians: neonatologists, neonatal hospitalists, pediatric neurologists

Learning Objectives

1. Identify two examples of normal and abnormal aEEG background patterns. 

2. Recite the 7 steps for systematic review of aEEG tracings. 

3. List two NICU populations that can benefit from the use of aEEG at the bedside.
