Current Situation
A large part of the KP physician workload is dedicated to answering email. The burden of email has increased, and communicating both effectively and efficiently is challenging.


Desired Practice
"You've Got Mail" is designed to help KP MD's write better, more efficient email to help reduce workload and lead to more patient and physician satisfaction.

Target Audience

Virtually all KP physicians interact with patients via secure messaging. Physicians are self-referred (ie. they sign up for the class themselves

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Participants should be able to use the tools and discussion during the course to write more empathetic, more efficient and higher quality email to patients
