1. Identify the screening guidelines and PROMPT features for primary fracture prevention.
2. Identify the role of DEXA screening after a fracture (secondary prevention) and treatment of osteoporosis as appropriate.
3. Use motivational interviewing strategies to help patients understand the importance of screening and treatment to prevent fractures.
