Learning Objectives

As a result of attending this session, attendees will be able to:

  • Identify patients at highest risk for neonatal hypoglycemia.
  • Use standardized discharge criteria for SGA infants.
  • Discuss with parents the signs of neonatal hypoglycemia, as well as post discharge care of SGA neonates.
  • Identify patients at risk for metabolic disorders.
