- Identify patients at highest risk for neonatal hypoglycemia.
- Use standardized discharge criteria for SGA infants.
- Discuss with parents the signs of neonatal hypoglycemia, as well as post discharge care of SGA neonates.
- Identify patients at risk for metabolic disorders.
