Full Program Title: "Highlighting Hair Disorders-What's New and What's True"
Improving patient care based on research that is carried out in Napa Solano and in the Northern California region.
Regarding hair disorders there are new advances that promise improved treatments for patient. Furthermore, the session aims to dispel misconceptions that may be held by providers and, or patient with the goal of providing evidence-based care. Overall, a better knowledge of evaluation and management to improve practice of treating hair loss and scalp disorders.
Target Audience
Primary Care providers, Family Medicine physicians, and physician researchers, and other interested clinicians.
Learning Objectives
- Identify causes of hair loss and initiate appropriate work up.
- Recognize different treatment modalities and when referral is indicated.
