Pediatricians are on the forefront of identifying autism spectrum disorder in their patients and the rates of Autism (ASD) are increasing nationally. It is important for Kaiser pediatricians & Family Medicine doctors to have a keen eye for early screening & intervention and have some strategies to help behavior.  As a result of this conference a desired practice is to get children with Autism referred quickly for evaluation and treatment. Help Pediatricians develop behavior strategies to help families.  Improve communication and referral with Developmental Pediatrics Department.
