Welcome to the Patient Provider Interaction (PPI) courses at NVLY.
Pre-registration is necessary for this course. It is a two-session course on consecutive weeks. You must complete an evaluation and claim your credit for each 4 hour session.
As a result of this CME activity, participants should be better able to:
- Describe the Four Habits Model and its link to improved outcomes and satisfaction.
- Practice the Four Habits Model and apply in the clinical setting.
- Express greater confidence in managing challenging conversations.
- Identify & address the importance of language, culture and health literacy in all patient - provider communications, including implicit bias.
