Welcome to the Patient Provider Interaction (PPI) courses at NVLY.

Pre-registration is necessary for this course.  It is a two-session course on consecutive weeks.  You must complete an evaluation and claim your credit for each 4 hour session.

Learning Objectives

As a result of this CME activity, participants should be better able to:

  1. Describe the Four Habits Model and its link to improved outcomes and satisfaction.
  2. Practice the Four Habits Model and apply in the clinical setting.
  3. Express greater confidence in managing challenging conversations.
  4. Identify & address the importance of language, culture and health literacy in all patient - provider communications, including implicit bias.
