Learning Objectives

After participation in this CME activity, the learner will be able to:

1. Explain how migraine can change in women in Teen/Early adult age, Pregnancy, Breastfeeding, Peri-Menopause/Menopause, and Post Menopausal stages of life.

2. Use WHO guidelines for estrogen medication and migraine.

3. Prescribe acute migraine and preventative medications considered safe in pregnancy, which are contraindicated, and which are used with caution.
