This training is available for CME credit and can be used to fulfill Radiology credit requirements for Fluoroscopy Certified Supervisors and Operators in Radiation Safety for the Clinical Uses of Fluoroscopy every 2 years.
* Note: TO MEET THE REQUIREMENT, ALL 8 MODULES MUST BE COMPLETED EVERY OTHER YEAR (PRIOR TO RE-CERTIFICATION).
Completion of all eight self-directed online modules counts for a a maximum of 4.0 AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)TM. This program also meets the requirements for 0.5 Radiologic Technology and Radiation Safety credits per module.
In order to receive credit, you must review the training modules, complete the post-test assessment questions for each module, and complete the program's CME evaluation.
When completing your renewal application, select Code B for the Medical Board of California, which recognizes AMA PRA Category 1 CME credit™.

Target Audience
This training is designed for any physician with an S & O Fluoroscopy license.
Learning Objectives
Physicians will be able to:
- Identify the major components of radiation protection and safety for digital systems and fluoroscopic equipment
- Implement proper radiation and protection procedures when utilizing digital systems and fluoroscopic equipment
- Effectively communicate and educate others on the need and value of proper radiation protection procedure
