Pediatric Hospitalists, Emergency Medicine Physicians, Nurses (ED, Pediatric Ward, SCN), Respiratory Therapists, Pharmacists

Learning Objectives

As a result of attending this conference, participants will be able to:

1. Communicate clearly during a neonatal code blue with consideration of language and cultural barriers both between team members and between patient/patient family and team members.
2. Effectively utilize medications and equipment in the neonatal crash carts during a code situation. 
3. Determine and utilize the appropriate process to activate a neonatal code blue.
4. Utilize available resources during critical events.
5. Identify barriers to successful resuscitations and identify areas for improvement.
