Learning Objectives
•Offer patients different options/ways to treat obesity and refer patients appropriately to bariatric surgery, medical weight management, wellness coaching and/or mental health services.
•Effectively communicate lifestyle changes to help patients achieve optimal health.
•Use KP tools and resources to address obesity and other chronic health conditions through nutrition and lifestyle modification.
•Recognize the relationship between adverse childhood experience and adult well being. Appropriately ask and listen to patients about adverse childhood experiences.
