Session Objectives:

The objectives of the simulation include:

1. Strengthening of the fundamental comprehension of the HICS roles and responsibilities as well as the chain of command
2. Discussion of the patient's case that is influenced by language limitations and immobility.


What is the HICS incident command system and what are the critical elements of the structure, roles, and communication systems that will ensure a successful response to emergency incidents? In this event, the fundamentals of HICS and a deeper exploration of responsibilities and chain of command will be discussed.
