Session Objective:

  1. Develop iSMART (Important, Specific, Measurable, Accountable, Realistic, Time-limited) goals in partnership with residents and students to improve their learning.
  2. Describe the four phases of Master Adaptive Learning (Planning, Learning, Assessing, and Adjusting) and apply them to real-life teaching scenarios.
  3. Utilize Individual Learning Plans (Growth Development Plans) to help residents and students become Master Adaptive Learners.

What principles to you use in approaching a learner?
Have you ever wondered how effective your teaching is?
We will go through the process of developing and utilizing Master Adaptive Learning and Individual Learning Plans to
help understand what a learner experiences and apply these principles in our teaching encounters.
