LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- Implement evidence based recommendations in practice, vetting current research for adoption within KP practice.
- Effectively collaborate with Neonatologists across facilities and Statewide, based on shared goals and best practices.
- Decrease practice variations assessed by CPQCC/VON and DOR and increase compliance with external regulators.
- Reduce and provide early identification of nosocomial infections in NICUs, utilizing recommended tools (e.g., Early-Onset Sepsis (EOS) risk assessment calculator).

Nurses may report 1.0 hours of credit towards continuing medical education requirements for license renewal by the California Board of Registered Nurses. It will be up to individual attendees to report applicable hours of attendance to their respective boards. Physician Education and Development is not a BRN provider. However, you may report your hours for this session by indicating "CME" on your license renewal applicaiton (in the space where a BRN Number is requested).
