Course Description:
Pathology specimens are read and sometimes do not correlate clinically or are ambiguous and could be subjective requiring review. Improved diagnosis, treatment and outcomes for patients. Treatment decisions are based on pathology readings often in our field. This is a forum where both the GI doctor and Pathologist can share specialty specific standards of care or practice to apply to patient treatment decisions.
Target Audience:
GI physicians and pathologists. Also mid level providers in GI department if they wish to attend
Objectives:
1. Identify details of the pathology read to see if correlates clinically with patient.
2. Recommend care or practice improvements based on case review.
