SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:  

As a result of this CME activity, participants should be better able to:

  1. Appropriately identify causes of hypothyroidism
  2. Appropriately evaluate laboratory test to diagnose hypothyroidism
  3. Appropriately recognize the symptoms associated with hypothyroidism
SERIES OBJECTIVES:

1. Utilize clinical practice guidelines of various chronic disease management and decrease variation in practice. Standardize care in harmony with best practice standards.

2. Effective use of pConsult with more phone advice and direct bookable if appropriate guideline is satisfied.

3. Improve physician satisfaction in terms of professionalism as indicated in the physician survey. Translate physician satisfaction into satisfying delivery model for patient care.

4. Consider culture, health literacy and language in caring for patients and provide resources to address concerns.
