SERIES OBJECTIVES:

1) Order lab monitoring before and after RAI treatment according to standardized practice guidelines. 
2) Apply evidenced -based standard of care (eg. using TWM staging) for staging and therapies for thyroid tumors. 
3) Effectively communicate with both radiology and endocrine practitioners in staging tumors and providing optimal treatment plans. 
4) Determine guidelines from thyrogen testing vs. whole body iodine scan. 
5) Identify barriers (systems, communication, etc.) influencing management of thyroid cancer patients. 
6) Consider culture, language and health literacy in all patient - provider communications.

Physicians, NPs and PAs - Endocrinology

AWARD OF CME CREDIT

CME credit will be granted to participants who attend the conference and complete the evaluation survey.
