SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:

As a result of this CME activity, participants should be better able to:

Identify Drugs of Choice and Current Using Trends

Current THC Potency, Learning How Marijuana Impacts Brain Chemistry, Cognitive Function as well as Mental and Physical Health

Help Parents and Providers Dialogue with Youth about Drugs and Drugs Abuse

Increase Knowledge of the 4 stages of Adolescent Drug Use with Signs and Symptoms.  

SERIES OBJECTIVES:

1) Associate current literature, standards, therapies, and treatments to the management and care of in-hospital and critical pediatric patients.
2) Utilize best practices identified in conference discussions in caring for pediatric inpatients.
3) Integrate information on appropriate diagnostic measures in the management of pediatric patients.
