SESSION OBJECTIVES:  

By the end of this session, participants should be better able to:

1. Identify  the new MICRA laws.
2. Recognize the laws around organ donation.
3. Identify informed refusal.
4. Describe the pitfalls of supervising residents.
5. Document patient interactions better and recognize how the med-legal department can assist.
