Objectives:

  • Understand national guidelines for general recommendations for workup and treatment of specific cancers.
  • Understand the patient circumstances for which treatment recommendations may deviate from standard cancer treatment guidelines.
  • Develop skills to communicate effectively with not only cancer patient but also with other providers of the patient’s cancer care team.
