Session Objectives:
1) Identify new evidence-based practice approaches about topics relevant to field of practice from recent publications.
2) Integrate and apply best practices for improved patient care.
Content:
Evidence based medicine in Pediatric care is ever-evolving. Often a Pediatrician will continue to practice as he/she was trained whereas increased exposure to different techniques may prompt a change in practice. As we become more specialized in our practices, we may miss updates in care and practice managements. Pediatricians need to stay up to date on the most current publications to understand and follow the latest guidelines. There is a limited time to read and become familiar with all of the recent practice changing publications.
