Session Content:
• Identify and distinguish between endocrine systems which regulate puberty
• Discuss common puberty mimickers
• Define precocious puberty in girls and boys
• Initiate work up for a patient with precocious puberty
Session Objectives:
1) Recognize that pubertal timing differs depending on race/ethnic background. (this should fulfil CLC)
2) Diagnose precocious puberty based on exam findings.
