Target Audience
TPMG Oncologists and Surgeons as well as other clinicians involved in the care of Melanoma.
Learning Objectives
- Consider the current national staging guidelines during complex melanoma management and clinical decision-making.
- Utilize basic and advanced surgical management strategies for melanoma occurring in complex locations
- Engage in multidisciplinary management of melanoma including immunotherapy, targeted therapies, and injectable therapy when indicated.
- Consider neoadjuvant therapy when indicated and refer patients to clinical trials when appropriate
- Perform metastastectomy when indicated in the management of metastatic melanoma.
- Engage with the national multidisciplinary group (tumor board) of specialists in melanoma surgery and complex melanoma management.
