Target Audience

TPMG Surgeons and Oncologists.

Learning Objectives

  • Consider the current national staging guidelines during complex melanoma management and clinical decision-making.
  • Utilize basic and advanced surgical management strategies for melanoma occurring in complex locations
  • Engage in multidisciplinary management of melanoma including immunotherapy, targeted therapies, and injectable therapy when indicated.
  • Consider neoadjuvant therapy when indicated and refer patients to clinical trials when appropriate
  • Perform metastastectomy when indicated in the management of metastatic melanoma.
  • Engage with the national multidisciplinary group (tumor board) of specialists in melanoma surgery and complex melanoma management.
