After participation in the session, the learner will be able to:
- Discuss and employ contemporary advances in Interventional Radiology techniques in treating patients with ESRD and hemodialysis access, acute and chronic venous thromboembolic disease, and locoregional therapy for hepatic malignancies
- Differentiate which patients need surgical versus medical versus percutaneous (Interventional Radiology) treatments for a variety of diseases and conditions
- Develop strategies to avoid potential complications of IR procedures
