Educational Objectives: at the end of this series, participants will be able to:
1. Efficiently utilize the opioid dashboard in KP HealthConntect.
2. Review the patient chart and understand the opioid workflow in ensuring patients have a taper in place.
3. Discuss about woman, Hispanics and Black Americans being at increased risk of not having pain adequately controlled.
Session Objectives: at the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Discuss how to effectively administer Naloxone (Narcan).
- Discuss good faith taper.
- Discuss opioid risk factors.
- Apply the workflow for Opioid & Benzodiazepine refill taper.
