1. Prescribe the most appropriate wound care regimen taking into account both wound type and patient's ability (i.e. ability to care for themselves, help at home) to allow for fastest, safest wound healing.
2. Identify at-risk wounds that require either wound biopsy or more dedicated/aggressive wound care follow up.
3. Improve communication between providers and nurses for coordinating care for wound care.
