  • Enhance our ability to provide compassionate care by gaining insight on the effects of illness on the lives of patients, family members and clinicians.
  • Improve teamwork and communication by exploring physician’s and staff's emotional responses to providing care in challenging cases.
  • Learn from colleagues about belief systems and behaviors that may be unfamiliar or influenced by culture, ethnicity, religion, and other factors.
