TARGET AUDIENCE:

SERIES OBJECTIVES:

1) Manage both common and complex surgical problems and integrate new surgical techniques into surgical practice in order to improve experience in a broad variety of general surgery cases, recognizing unusual cases and complications due to the multidisciplinary experience.
2) Identify root causes of morbidity and mortality and take measures to minimize them.
3) Recognize CT and conventional Xray imaging of common and unusual general surgery conditions.
5) Consider language, culture and health literacy in all patient - provider communications.
