SERIES OBJECTIVES:
By the end of this CME activity, participants should be better able to:
1) Apply up to date evidence-based medicine into the daily practice of caring for hospitalized children.
2) Describe strategies and approaches to improve communication and thus the quality of care between physicians, team members, patients and families.
3) Consider the importance of language, culture and health literacy in all patient-provider communications, including implicit bias.
TARGET AUDIENCE:
Physicians, NPs, and PAs - Pediatric HBS, Neonatologists, and Outpatient Pediatricians
AWARD OF CME CREDIT:
CME credit will be granted to participants who attend the conference and complete the evaluation survey.
