SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:  

As a result of this CME activity, participants should be better able to:

1)    Recognize why group therapy is effective.
2)    Identify the concept of cohesion in group therapy.
3)    Review the evidence base for group psychotherapy.

SERIES OBJECTIVES:
  1. Identify and utilize evidence based treatment approaches.
  2. Recognize best practices as viable and effective methods to address symptoms.
  3. Examine the relationships between efficiency, efficacy and patient satisfaction.  
  4. Adhere to the latest evidence based guidelines of practice in order to decrease variability in practice.
  5. Consider language, culture and health literacy in all patient-provider communications.
