SERIES OBJECTIVES:
By the end of this CME activity, participants should be better able to:
- Manage both common and complex surgical problems and integrate new surgical techniques into surgical practice in order to improve experience in a broad variety of general surgery cases, recognizing unusual cases and complications due to the multidisciplinary experience.
- Identify root causes of morbidity and mortality and take measures to minimize them.
- Recognize CT and conventional Xray imaging of common and unusual general surgery conditions.
- Identify and address culture, health literacy, language, and implicit bias, in caring for patients and provide resources to address concerns.
